OFFICE
VROA office is located near Grunwaldzki Square, city's academic center. This is the place where various ideas on the city collide. XIX century fabric is overlayed with modular modern grid, which closes the Social Realist axis of the University campus. During period of Festung Breslau in 1945 there was an airfield built in front of our windows replacing vivid square blocks. VROA ARCHITEKCI, ul. Nauczycielska 8/4.
PUBLICATIONS
Projects by VROA have been published by architectural magazines like Architektura-Murator, Architektura&Biznes, Archiwolta and Architecture Today and Building Design. Apart from these Lukasz (together with Roman Rutkowski) have contributed to A10 New European Architecture as a Polish correspondent since 2005, the theoretical texts by them both appeared in Architectural Design and Era 21. Lukasz is also the editor of small book on Wroclaw's late modern architecture "Fast & Young".
EXHIBITIONS
LECTURES
Our lectures include presentations of VROA projects and our interpretations of theory and history of architectutre. We present references for our work that we find in contemporary art and film... We are not interested in formal issues but operational potentials (not exacly functional in Modern sense) of architecture. We ask ourselves questions about basics of building. Our lectures took place in Leipzig, Katowice, Nurnberg, Cracow, Warsaw and Wroclaw... More on ERASMUS DESIGN.
